About the role:

Bio Gro is looking for multiple Yard/Pickling Line Assistants to join the team at our Victorian Organics Recovery & Manufacturing Facility in Ordish Rd, Dandenong South. There are multiple shift times available for this role, these being morning and afternoon shifts.

The position supports the Organics Processing Division & Site Manager in maintaining the site and production performance, quality and housekeeping standards.

The main component of the role assists with the decontamination of organics materials received on site, this work is conducted within a sorting cabin under cover and also in some cases in outside conditions. We aim to decontaminate the material so that it can be sent off site for further processing into a range of gardening products.

We provide PPE & Uniform for all staff and hold Safety for employees in the highest regard. Other duties required form the successful applicant are cleaning, grounds maintenance, gardening etc. to support efficient & safe operations of the facility.

• Ability to follow process and protocols on Safety standards, essential
• Experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
• Good communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised or in a team environment
• ‘Can do’ attitude and team player
