Bio Gro is excited to announce the acquisition of an EPA licensed facility in Newbridge Victoria to support our ongoing growth in the State of Victoria.

The site was formerly the operations of ScatoPlus, a producer of mushroom growing compost and is located within 30 mins of Bendigo. The acquisition incorporates a 400-acre parcel of land along with supporting equipment and infrastructure that will enable us to quickly commence operations.

We’re extremely excited by this acquisition and the opportunity for Bio Gro to assist the State of Victoria in meeting their objectives of creating additional organics recovery infrastructure, and equally for Bio Gro creating additional manufacturing capacity to meet our customer demand.

Our range of products are a key component in sustainably improving soil and plant health and we’re looking forward to the Newbridge operation being another new chapter in our growth story.

Starting this week, there will be investment in the region in terms of job creation, support services and engagement of local businesses as we continue to develop the site capability.

We are a family-owned business that has been providing quality products from organics for nearly 50 years. The process starts with the recovery of organics from a range of different industries. These products are then refined and supplied to the horticultural, viticultural and agricultural markets in the form of quality growing media, mulches and composts which are then applied to improve plant and soil health, tailored to customer specific requirements.
