Bio Gro at the Bendigo Sustainability Festival
April 2, 2026

Bio Gro was on full display at the Bendigo Sustainability Festival, Sunday March 29, joining a diverse mix of local businesses, community groups and sustainability advocates at the beautiful Garden for the Future.
This year’s theme, “Home”, explored the idea that sustainability begins in the places we live and the communities we build, encouraging practical, everyday actions that support a more sustainable future.
Throughout the day, the Bio Gro team spoke with hundreds of attendees about the role organic materials play in improving soil health, reducing waste and supporting a circular economy across agriculture, landscaping and forestry. The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with local growers, organisations, gardeners and environmentally conscious households looking for practical ways to make more sustainable choices.
For Bio Gro, participation in the Bendigo Sustainability Festival reinforced the increasing level of community interest in soil health, composting and responsible resource use. It also highlighted the important role for regional organisations, like Bio Gro’s Newbridge facility, play in supporting the delivery of sustainable practices at a local level.
The team looks forward to continuing these conversations and supporting local initiatives that help build healthier soils, stronger communities and a more sustainable future.
Well done and thank you to the Bio Gro team for their help in bringing this all together!
