About the role:

We are seeking a capable and motivated person to join our Mount Gambier, South Australian team as Safety and Compliance Administrator.

This position works closely with the Safety and Compliance team to administer the end-to-end processes within Workplace Health Safety & Compliance.

The role will include but not limited to:
• Maintain effective working relationships and communication with all managers and employees across the organisation
• Support Managers and Supervisors in the creation and development of key safety documents, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures and Action Plans.
• Administer the Safety and Compliance databases and registers to ensure accurate data is provided to the Leadership Group.
• Administer the day-to-day Safety and Compliance portfolio as directed.
• Update spreadsheets, compliance and training calendars and skills matrix.
• Update Processes and procedures as required.
• Administer WHS site inductions for new starters.

About you:

Desirable Qualifications & Skills
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines
• Experience in the WHS industry highly desirable
• Proficient computer skills with experience using Excel, Power BI and SharePoint
• Ability to be professional, resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
• Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal and team working ability
