About the role:

Bio Gro is looking for a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor- Packaging to join the team at our site in Newbridge, Victoria, to lead and operate within our Manufacturing team. This is a day shift position.

The successful applicant will provide support to the Site Manager, and packaging operational staff in maintaining the site safety, quality, and production performance. They will encourage a positive safety culture where there is a focus on hazard awareness and incident reporting.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
• Demonstrate leadership through safety and compliance behaviours in line with the companies’ objectives in this area, meeting targets and goals while maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
• Ensure a monthly production plan is produced in line with forward sales expectations from the business and in conjunction with the Site Manager.
• Dedicated to leading a team to create a high-quality product that consistently meets product specifications.
• Ensure that all finished products achieve a quality rate of 99% or greater
• Oversee and direct the daily work of the production staff.

About you:

• Commitment to Bio Gro’s safety, environmental and quality assurance policies and company values
• Current Loader Licence (LL) essential
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximising effective manufacture is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work unsupervised or in a team environment
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow process and procedures
• Attention to detail
• Organisational skills.
