About the role:

Bio Gro is seeking a Customer Service Officer – Sales to join the organisation to support the sales team at our Dandenong South, Victoria site. We are looking for a polite and professional person to join our sales team to provide exceptional customer service to all new and existing customers.

As Customer Service Officer – Sales you will be responsible for:
• Taking orders via phone or email ensuring all information is collected and accurate.
• Follow through on any after sales support including follow ups of: quotes, order confirmations and general touch points with the customer
base on service level.
• Liaise with relevant staff regarding customer requirements and assist in providing solutions to customer problems.
• Recommend potential products and services to management by collecting customer information and analysing customer needs.
• Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer’s complaint determining the cause of the problem and selecting/explaining the
best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction of adjustment, following up to ensure resolutions.
• Provide reports, quotations and costings as required, direct to customers or to the sales team.
• Liaise with relevant departments or external companies to arrange specialised freight, accurate costs and delivery timelines.
• Initiate changes to and cancellation of orders/backorders upon request and advice from Sales Team.
• Maintain an accurate record keeping system, prepare data, reports and documents, analyse information as required.

About you:

The Customer Service Officer – Sales will play a critical role in the delivery of sales administration by being a key contact to all new and existing customers. You will be able to problem solve, recognise the need of the customer requirements when quoting on products. Horticulture and/or agriculture experience is desirable but not essential.

• Strong customer service skills and an ability to achieve quality customer outcomes.
• Well-developed ability to read and comprehend simple instruction in work related documents.
• Well-developed ability to read and interpret documents and administrative procedures, procedure manuals, safety rules.
• Well-developed ability to work in a team environment to collaboratively achieve results.
• Well-developed ability to attend to detail and to produce accurate work.
• Well-developed ability to be professional, resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
• Well-developed ability to manage time, organise self, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.
